Manchester Giants secured their second win of the 2018-19 Championship campaign at the weekend, with a solid display on the road in Worcester.
Despite only being four games into the new season, the Giants have already caught the attention of many around the league.
Summer additions – such as the signing of Croatian Vlatko Granic – have already borne fruit with the team proving a far more competitive outfit than in previous seasons.
“The extended preparation time we had heading into the weekend definitely helped us to prepare for our game against Worcester, both mentally and physically,” admitted the 6’9″ forward.
“The key to the team’s victory was our defence and communication.
“Even though we picked up a few technical fouls we didn’t let that affect our game and we just kept playing hard.
“I have always been an underdog and that’s what motivates me.
“I’m here to help my team and to prove to myself that we can compete with the top teams in the league.
“We still have a lot of things to prove and we are a group of guys that work hard.
“I believe we can go really far this season.”
