Manchester Giants travel to Surrey this weekend full of confidence, having seen off Leeds Force in convincing fashion last time out.
“We were happy to get the win last weekend but our attention has moved on quickly to looking towards Surrey,” began play-caller Callum Jones.
“Last weekend we had really good contributions from everyone who took to the court.
“Defensively we were difficult to score against and that is critical for our team if we want to go on and string some wins together.
“Controlling [Tony] Hicks will be a big key, as he dictates a lot of Surrey’s offence.
“At the same time we also need to make sure we play smart and disciplined against their other scorers.
“Offensively I think we can utilise our interior threat to our advantage.”
Manchester Giants visit Surrey Scorchers on 16 Friday, tip-off 7:30PM.
