Earl Brown has taken to life in Glasgow in his stride. Having impressed for Cheshire Phoenix during his first stint in the BBL, the athletic wing is once again earning plaudits.
The Scottish franchise sits third in the Championship standings and could leapfrog second place Esh Group Eagles Newcastle if results this weekend were to be favourable.
While many onlookers may have been surprised by the Rocks’ competitiveness this season there was never any doubt within the Glasgow ranks.
According to Brown, “the success of the team starts with practice.”
“We’ve been pushing each other every day to get better.
“The coaches do a great job of getting us prepared for each game. We take it one game at a time.
“To have the leadership of G [Gareth Murray] and Kieron [Achara] in the squad ensures we remain competitive. Their expectations for the team are sky high and they won’t settle for less.”
