Less than a year and half since the franchise first took to the court, Caledonia Pride has the chance to earn its maiden piece of WBBL silverware.
On Sunday the side from Edinburgh take on Nottingham Wildcats at Arena Birmingham in the Cup Final.
For Pride’s Rosanna Reynolds the prospect of being able to create history adds an additional layer of motivation.
“Winning would demonstrate just how far the club has developed. It’s something Scotland can be proud of and a great opportunity for the players on the team to be able to say that they’ve made history,” explained Reynolds.
“We’ll approach the game in the same way we prepare for every other game.
“It’s another game for us that we are looking to compete and win.
“We need to hit shots but also play solid defence, especially on Ashley Harris who is having a great season.
“Mostly, we need to focus on ourselves and the things that we can control as a team.”
