Nottingham Wildcats forward Ashley Harris is in the midst of another remarkable campaign.
The reigning MVP comfortably leads the league in scoring and also tops the rebounding ranks.
This weekend the league standout has the chance to add the WBBL Cup to her already decorated C.V.
“The fact that two teams below fifth place in the table have made the final shows just how competitive the WBBL has been this year,” noted Harris.
“It’s my fourth opportunity in three years to take home a trophy and I have yet to win a big final.
“If we stick to our game plan, take care of the basketball and play solid defence then I think we can end up on top when that final buzzer sounds.
“I can’t begin to put into words what victory would mean to me.
“It would be huge for the club. We have always seemed to come up short on the big stage, so being part of the team that puts that right would mean a lot.
