BBL 16-17 Recap: Week 10, Friday

There were wins for three of the top five in the BBL Championship, while Surrey Scorchers moved into the top eight, on Friday night. Leicester Riders overturned a nine-point deficit at the end of the third as they defeated Bristol Flyers 79-65 with Brandon Clark contributing 16 points and nine assists. Meanwhile, London Lions improved to 8-2 with Rashad Hassan netting 31 points in a 103-94 success over Manchester Giants, with DBL Sharks Sheffield beating Plymouth Raiders behind 25 points from Mike Tuck. Surrey climbed up the standings with a convincing 103-80 win at home to Cheshire Phoenix with Worcester Wolves seeing off Leeds Force 77-91 away from home as Marek Klassen finished with 18 points and seven assists.
