Scotland U18 Men finished the European Championships Division B in 22nd position.
It proved to be a difficult group phase for Scotland as the side fell to Slovak Republic (56-74), Georgia (48-101), England (51-95) and Ukraine (65-92). A strong showing against Albania (83-65) ensured Scotland would take at least one victory into the classification phase.
A narrow loss to Luxembourg (61-65) placed the Scots against Cyprus for their penultimate fixture. An impressive display saw the team run out 66-52 winners and earn the chance to play for 21st place.
Despite a strong second half, Albania were able to avenge their previous defeat at the hands of Scotland to inflict a narrow loss on the Scots (68-71) to take 21st place and push their opponents into 22nd position.
Kyle Jimenez led the team in scoring (12.8) and rebounds (5.5) ahead of Sean Nealon-Lino (9.1 PPG, 4.9 RPG).
