Scotland U16 Women finish 21st at European Championship

Scotland U16 Women finished 21st at the 2016 European Championship, Division B.

The group phase proved to be a tough battle for Scotland who fell to Bosnia and Herzegovina (47-57), Ireland (49-58), England (46-75), Bulgaria (45-48) and Finland (37-81).

Placed in the 17-23 classification pool, Scotland lost a tough matchup against Norway (39-57) before finishing on a high against Cyprus (47-38) to take 21st place and record their first victory of the competition.

Ruth Allison led the team in points 14.1 and rebounds 11.1 per game.
