Great Britain Men’s U20 candidate list trimmed to 16

Having started with more than 20 players battling it out to represent Great Britain at the U20 European Championship Division B in Greece between 15 and 24 July, the initial candidate list has been reduced after a preparation camp at the University of Essex in Colchester.

The players who are no longer in contention for a place on the final roster are Harvey Barr, Moses Byekwaso, George Darling, Boban Jacdonmi, Sam Newman, Selby Hind-Wills and Findlay Wood.

The remaining 16-player candidate list is as follows:

The team are currently heading to Portugal to play in friendly scrimmage games during coming days against Portugal, Sweden and Belarus. The trio of Oghide, Hanson-Young and Walters are not travelling, but remain part of the squad. Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye is arriving into camp next week.
