Team UK flew out to Orlando looking to retain their wheelchair basketball Invictus gold medal, which they won during the inaugural games in London.

Setting the tone from the off, a 17-2 victory over New Zealand and 14-2 win over Netherlands saw Team UK advance to the final four undefeated from Pool A.

In the semi-final, Team UK produced a dominant display to beat Denmark 29-10 and set up a repeat of the 2014 final against the USA.

The wheelchair basketball final took centre stage to close out the Invictus Games and despite a valiant effort from Team UK, the hosts proved victorious to claim gold with a 48-16 win.

It was another brilliant campaign for Team UK, who once again proved they were among the world’s elite.
