Nottingham Wildcats WIN WBBL Championship title | WBBL 2015-16 Round Up: 10 April

The WBBL Championship title was decided on Sunday as Nottingham Wildcats edged closer to a ‘perfect’ regular season.

The Wildcats defeated Team Northumbria 79-62 behind 24 points from Amber Stokes and 21 from Ashley Harris as they sealed the title.

Meanwhile, Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters overturned a half-time deficit to beat Sevenoaks Suns 87-64 on the road with Helen Naylor netting 26 points and Baendu Lowenthal adding 22 points and 16 rebounds.

Also, Manchester Mystics boosted their Play-Off hopes after holding on to see off Cardiff Met Archers 60-59 as Martina Matejcikova top-scored with 20 points.
